Francesca

After four years as Research Associate in the USA at Northwestern University, I started my indipendent carrer in 2023 thanks to the "Rita Levi Montalcini" Program for Young Researchers (Italian Ministry of University and Research), awarded to outstanding scholars working abroad to start an independent career in Italy.

With the generous support of the Italian Ministry of University and Research (Italian ERC call "Fondo Italiano per la Scienza" and "Rita Levi Montalcini" Program for Young Researchers"), Cariparo Foundation and University of Padova, I've raised >1.9M€ as independent PI to set up lab spaces for synthesis & photocatalysis and to support the young scientists joining the gang.

I am also committed to service activities related to promotion of women in STEM and to the use and transfer of academic knowledge to help resolve diverse societal challenges (Third Mission).
